Privacy

This notice explains how BeTheOne Sports uses information to operate its recruiting marketplace. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public launch.

Information we use

We use account details, recruiting profiles, program and agency information, messages, submissions, verification records, preferences, and product feedback that users provide. We also keep security and audit records needed to operate and protect the service.

Public profiles and visibility

Players choose whether a profile is published or unlisted and which eligible categories appear publicly. Exact birth dates, guardian information, private contact details, exact financial information, eligibility identifiers, and private documents are not shown on public profiles.

Colleges, agencies, and messages

Authorized college and agency users receive only the information permitted by the relevant relationship, consent, or recruiting workflow. Direct messages are available only after an accepted connection. Messages are private to participants and are not made public.

Minors and guardian consent

A minor's profile cannot be published without recorded guardian consent. Minor profiles receive stricter age display rules, and guardian details are never public. Guardians should contact us if consent needs to be reviewed or withdrawn.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while an account is active and as needed for security, legal, and operational obligations. Signed-in users can request review or permanently delete their account from Account & Security. A minimal non-PII audit record may be retained after deletion for security and legal traceability.

Your choices

Users can edit profile information, change publication and privacy settings, withdraw eligible consent, report concerns, and delete their account. Some workflow history may remain where required to protect other users or document authorized recruiting actions.
